  • Assistant Teachers for Classes IX–X: 23,212 posts

  • Assistant Teachers for Classes XI–XII: 12,514 posts

 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Classes IX–X:

  • Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and

  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized institution
    OR

  • 4-year integrated B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institute

For Classes XI–XII:

  • Post Graduation with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject and

  • B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized institute
    OR

  • 4-year integrated course like B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed./M.Sc.Ed.

Note: The degrees must be recognized by NCTE (for B.Ed.) and UGC (for Graduation/Post Graduation).

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)

  • Minimum Age: 21 years

  • Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC: 3 years

  • PwD: 8 years
