The recruitment is being conducted for the position of District and Sessions Judge under the Higher Judicial Service. The posts are to be filled through direct recruitment from the Bar.

Educational Qualification
Must be a practicing Advocate with not less than 7 years of standing at the Bar as of January 1, 2025.
The applicant should have a sound knowledge of law, good character, and should not be engaged in any other governmental employment.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 35 years
Maximum Age: 45 years as on January 1, 2025
(Relaxation up to 50 years is applicable for eligible categories as per rules.)
Salary
Selected candidates will be placed in the scale of:
₹144,840 – ₹194,660/- per month (as per Kerala State Higher Judicial Service norms)
Selection Process
The selection will be done in three stages:
Preliminary Examination (Objective Type Screening Test)
Main Examination (Written Examination)
Viva Voce (Interview)
Final selection will be based on performance in all three stages.
